My Rapunzel Dress

I've been sewing lately and my latest creation is my Rapunzel dress based on Rapunzel's dress from 'Tangled'. I made the pattern and sewed it up myself. Now for what everyone wants to see,pictures!

This dress was a lot of work but tons of fun to do. I still have to do the embroidery but I'm going to give myself til the end of summer to do that. Thanks for looking! :-)

My Birthday

My birthday was yesterday! My mom made me homemade cinnimon rolls,hashbrown casserole(for dinner)and a honeybun cake. Yum! Thank you Mommy!
My brother made me an awesome birthday sign with 'Adventure Time' and 'Regular Show' characters all over it. It was really awesome.
For presents,I got Ivy,Addy's bed,trunk,table and chairs,Molly's Tea Set,Julie's locker,and mini Felicity(the 25th anniversary one) from my parents. And I got Julie from Grandma last Friday.

I think had a pretty good birthday. It was also Rebecca's birthday. We were birthday buddies! :-D

Blog Party Questionare

Of,Horsefeathers is having a blog party. Here are my answers to some of the questions.

• Favorite season, and why?

I love all the seasons! They are each special in their own way. I love the cold of winter,the aliveness of spring,the warmth and the do-nothingness of summer and chrispness of fall.

• How would you describe your personal style?

Vintage or vintage with a modern twist. But I also dress modern. It depends on what I feel like.

• What's one weird thing you can do? (The stranger the better!)

When I cross my eyes,one eye stays straight while the other will look in a different direction.

• Rain or shine?

Shine,but I love rainy days,too because they are so cozy.

• Favorite music?

I love Big Band and rock and pop. And Disney music!

• Who do you admire/look up to?
  

I look up to my mom and dad,the American Girl characters,Walt Disney,Rapunzel,and many others.

• You've just won an unlimited lifetime supply of... what?
  

AMERICAN GIRL THINGS!!!!!!

• If you were an animal, what would you be?

I would want to be a horse or a bunny. I just like those animals. :)

• If you knew you were going to die in a year, what would you do with your time?

I would spend as much time with my family and friends as I could at Disney World!My dolls would be there too,of coarse. ;)

• You're now a gazillionaire... where do you go to spend your money?

I will spend it on American Girl,books,sewing and crocheting supplies,and trips to Disney World.

• Classical music: love it or hate it?
  I guess love it. I like the fast classical songs and classic classical music,like Mozart.
  
• Phobias?

I'm scared of needles and things that might poke my eye. They just make me feel unconfortable. :-P

• Hop on a plane and go live somewhere for a year... where is it, and why?

Disney World! I feel so happy there and it is like time stops,magic rushes over you,and all you can do is smile your heart out. :) I wish I was there right now.

• Are you an extrovert or an introvert?

Introvert.

• Would you/do you perform on stage?

No way! I would be too scared.

I got tagged by beast'sbelle so I'm supposed to say 7 random things about myself. Here is goes

1.I went to go see Tangled yesterday for the second time. (Rapunzel came with me :-) )

2.My hair is 37 inches long.

3.I REALLY want to go to Disney World.

Sonic and Tails

I have been crocheting(again) lately. This time I made Sonic and Tails for my best friend,who is a die hard Sonic fan. Here is the Sonic pattern and Tails pattern. Now for pictures.

What I've Been Up To

Sorry for the lack of updates. I've been really busy,especially these last 8 days because I've been crocheting a dragon for my cousin's birthday. (He loves dragons) I saw the pattern from April Draven and knew I just had to make it for him. So I've been crocheting every chance I got(in that car,walking at the park,watching TV at night(but I always do that),at the Civil War museum,everywhere!). I finally got it done 10-15 minutes after we parked to go to the party. So I am really proud of my dragon,and wanted to post pictures of it so you all can see.




















Here is me with the dragon to show how big it is. :) Now I'm sad that the dragon is gone but my cousin was super happy! :-) Yea! And I will just make me one,so it's all good. :-)







Thanks for looking everyone! I've also been making Mario,Luigi,and Toads for my brothers and friends. Now I'm going to be working on more crochet luvies and other things for birthdays(and for me ;-) ). I will be sure to post pictures of everything I make for you to see. :-)
